Photoplethysmography (PPG) Evaluation
Evaluates blood flow in the fingers or toes using painless light sensors of small vessel circulation
Service Description
A Photoplethysmography (PPG) Evaluation is a noninvasive vascular examination that uses specialized light sensors to measure blood flow in the fingers or toes. The study evaluates small vessel circulation and helps detect conditions such as Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD), Raynaud's disease, diabetes-related vascular disease, and other circulation disorders. PPG testing is also commonly used to assess wound-healing potential, monitor vascular disease, and evaluate blood flow before or after vascular procedures. The examination is painless, requires no needles or radiation, and typically takes about one hour.
